About This Document ------------------- This document describes • details on the Font Drivers icon vault • how to use the accompanying DeBNDLer utility Details on the Font Drivers Icon Vault -------------------------------------- In order to guarantee that each font driver file retains its icon, companies such as Adobe include icon information with every font driver file they produce. This increases the time it takes to rebuild the desktop or open a folder containing many font drivers. Using the accompanying program, DeBNDLer 1.1, you can remove this extra font information. This icon vault then ‘adds back’ the icons, in a disk- and memory-efficient way. The Font Drivers icon vault adds these icons: How to Use the DeBNDLer Utility ------------------------------- The DeBNDLer utility program is copyright © Stephan Somogyi, and is included as a courtesy. Simon Poisson is in no way affiliated with the author of DeBNDLer. 1. Open the DeBNDLer 1.1 application. 2. Click the Process This Volume button. 3. Click the Convert all ‘LWFN’ files button. 4. Click Start. A dialog box shows the progress. For details on installing this icon vault, refer to the document “ Installation Guide” that accompanies this package.
